Key work examples

The most complex and rewarding projects I’ve led while at Esri the last 7 years:

Admin onboarding

How might we reduce support tickets and make the page actionable?

Community events

How might we streamline creation while modernizing how events are displayed?

Key work examples

The most complex and rewarding projects I’ve led while at Esri the last 7 years:

An announcement with examples of what to click on to see options. As well as the feature on a phone and desktop view to show versatility of the interface.

Highlights

  1. Translated complex ACL logic updates from backend engineers into intuitive discussion channel workflows for end users.
  2. A reduction in errors when adding locations after applying a guided experience with milestone triggers.
  3. Rapid, collaborative design with developers to quickly enhance the feature with high-value capabilities based on market demand that hinders adoption: reactions, blocked words, and in-line moderation.

This effort included several types of research which I either facilitated, designed assets for, or analyzed to inform two rounds of updates. Outcomes:

  1. Reduction in support tickets due to a reorganization of form fields which included contextual help for successful activiation.
  2. Reduction in clicks to priority pages and actions by including more content on the admin homepage.

V3 update coming in 2025!

I reimagined the event system to increase adoption and decrease creation time guided by known customer pains.

  1. For event managers, the creation process was streamlined by replacing the two-part custom editor with a templated view powered by a simple form.
  2. For event attendees, key details were front and center on a mobile-friendly page structured to feel as familiar as other event platforms.
